Launched in 2023, Productfolio provides integrated tools for Product teams to manage the end-to-end process, from ideation to launch, and reflects best-practices for teams to build upon. Teams can manage ideas, scoring opportunities with a scoring rubric, create a roadmap, and share, and share the plan and collect feedback and ideas, via a public portal.
PMA.LA
The Product Managers Association of Los Angeles (PMA.LA) was created after I moved back to Los Angeles. It was hard to believe there was no PM community in a city the size of Los Angeles there was nothing I led the group through a few major events hosting people lik Marty Cagan and hosting events at Google and Hulu, before passing the reigns. The group is still going strong, years later.
The Smarter Startup
I authored The Smarter Startup, in partnership with Sonya Zhang, published by Pearson Publishing. The book explored why some startups succeed, when others do not, and strategies for finding product-market fit. The book was available in major bookstores online and in-store such as Barnes & Noble and many others. I debuted the book with a speaking and book signing event at SXSW.
eRomance.com
eRomance.com, was an online dating community that reached 60k active members, at its peak. co-built the Java architecture, worked closely with UXD on design. I drove the SEO strategy including 10k pages of unique content that yielded 10k unique visitors per day and a top 5 Google ranking for the highly competitive term, ‘Online Dating’. The site was sold 2.5 years later.
TravelUSA.com + Hotel.us
My interest in travel and consumer Internet led me to develop two travel sites that enabled online booking and drove traffic to the sites via SEO. After a couple years of freetime effort to drive traffic and optimize my conversion funnel, I was generating $70k/month in sales and had the opporutnity to sell a year later.
